BIOFACH 2026:
Inspiring encounters and strong momentum for the future of organic production Four days filled with meetings, meaningful discussions, and fresh perspectives: BIOFACH 2026 once again demonstrated how vibrant, committed, and future-oriented the international organic sector is. Thousands of professionals from around the world took the opportunity to connect, learn from each other, and develop joint solutions for the food systems of tomorrow.
Presence and fostering dialogue
Under the umbrella of the EASY-CERT Group, we were present in Nuremberg together with Austria Bio Garantie, AgroVet, Ceres, and Carbon Standards. Direct exchange was at the heart of our participation: personal conversations with long-standing partners, valuable new contacts, and in-depth discussions on current challenges in certification, sustainability, and carbon accounting.
The impressive scale of the fair and the diversity of international exhibitors once again highlighted how globally connected and dynamic the organic sector is today. For our team, meeting clients outside the audit context was especially valuable. Personal dialogue in the open trade fair environment was highly appreciated and created space for topics that often receive too little attention in formal audit settings.
It was also important for us to proactively approach our clients and Swiss exhibitors, show interest, and connect directly. The positive feedback confirmed how important such personal presence is.
Experiencing innovation and international diversity
The fair clearly showed that the organic sector is not only growing but also continuously evolving. More resilient supply chains, credible standards, transparent value chains, and effective climate strategies are shaping current discussions.
Among the highlights were numerous innovative food products, as well as inspiring insights from different countries reflecting the diversity and international dynamics of the sector.
Participation in our clients’ events and the organization of a joint aperitif on Thursday provided additional opportunities for meaningful conversations in a more informal setting and further strengthened our partnerships.
Strengthening internal group exchange
Numerous expert events included in-depth discussions on regulatory changes, market trends, and political frameworks—topics that strongly influence our daily work. Equally enriching was the opportunity to meet and exchange with colleagues from across the group.
Such encounters strengthen cohesion and further reinforce our shared direction.
We especially valued the exchange with colleagues from Austria and Turkey, which opened new perspectives and further deepened international cooperation within the group. The openness, dedication, and positive atmosphere once again confirmed the sector’s ability to shape the future. We thank everyone who took the time to meet with us, for their trust, and for the inspiring conversations.
